Kidz Praise (4 years old through 1st grade)
Sundays, during 9:45 Sunday School in the Children's Ministries Building
This choir rehearses every Sunday during the school year and sings for two or three worship services each semester and at least one major program during the year. Music time includes fun Biblically-based songs, movement, and instruments. Contact Dr. Dona Lusted, Director of Children's Music.
Kidz Praise (Grades 2 – 3)
Sundays, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Children's Ministries Building Room 115
This choir is open to any child in grades 2 – 3. In addition to singing for several services, they sing at nursing homes and special events. Together with the older children, they present two major programs per year, one of which usually includes a full-length musical. Choir time includes a snack supper, singing, and Bible study. This choir enjoys singing for several worship services, nursing homes, and civic events. Each spring they travel on a weekend mission trip out of state. Cheerful Chimers
Sundays, 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Community Ministries Building Room 1
This is a preparatory handbell group for children in grades 2 – 3. Through choir chimes, the children learn the rudiments of music and participate in two or three programs or services during the year. Contact Dr. Dona Lusted, Director of Children's Music.
Celebration Ringers
Sundays, 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Handbell Room
This handbell choir is for children in grades 4 – 6. The children will enjoy ringing Christian and folk music. This group rings in two or three services and participates in a major program. Contact Dr. Dona Lusted, Director of Children's Music.
Music & Arts/Musical Theater Camp
This popular specialty camp offered in alternate summers for grades K–6 teaches classes in various music, art, drama, and dance forms. The children normally produce some type of program by week's end. A small fee is charged for this week-long, half-day camp which is offered every other summer.
